GEOPTIK COUNTERWEIGHT KIT FOR 8" SCT

The Geoptik Counterweight for 8" SCT allows you to finely balance your fork-mounted Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube assembly. This is especially useful when using heavy accessories such as large eyepieces, diagonals or cameras.

The sliding counterweight is Chromium-plated for durability and strength. This kit includes a 315mm long counterweight shaft and 1kg counterweight and is suitable for 8" tubes such as the Celestron CPC 8" or Meade LX200-ACF 8".
